Close board fencing is renowned for the strength and adaptability the product provides. Close board fencing is often known to be the most cost effective and strongest type of fencing available. Close board fencing is often set at 2.7m centres and 6ft high. It gets its strength from the three arris rails being pinned both ends and a solid 6 inch gravel board cut precisely between the posts, finished with a centre stump in the middle of the bay to stop the gravel board moving. We also offer capping and counter rail which really gives the fence a nice edge with the top running smooth.

Concrete morticed posts and concrete gravels boards just give that edge to keep the timber away from ground contact.

One of the best traits of close board fencing is the adaptability to follow the ground whether the ground is level or running down a hill.
